Despicable Me 2 (Movie)

This movie was quite an exciting movie. As I sat eating my hot dog and popcorn, I wondered what this movie was going to be about. I expected another villain stealing something important like the moon, but it wasn't quite what I expected.

The movie had important things from the movie before this one, like Gru, the girls, dr. Netharo,  the minions, the freeze ray, and of course, the fart gun. The movie is based on Gru working for the government because someone stole a serum that turns beings into purple, angry, unstoppable, monsters. The mysterious villain (whose name I’m not telling because everyone hates a spoiler) is capturing minions for a secret reason.

In the story, the girls are getting sad because they don’t have a mom. So they keep begging Gru to get a date. So in the story, Gru meets an agent called Lucy Wild who has a stash of secret agent weapons which include a flamethrower and a lipstick taser. They fight the villain who’s alley is a chicken. (Horrifying, isn’t it)

The plot is that Gru and the girls and the minions try to have a normal life. But then the government kidnaps them and wants them to get a villain who has a serum. So they go to a famous mall and track him down.  During the tracking however, one of the girls falls in love with a handsome boy and Gru is very upset about it and then there are funny scenes as Gru tries to get them to break up. All I can say is that this involves guacamole  hats.

For some reason, when I walked out, my parents were saying it was a bad movie although I liked it a lot. Strange. Well, enjoy the movie like these minions have.

Minecraft (Video Game)

Minecraft is one of the most played video games in the world. In it, you are a character called Steve. Although you always start with a regular skin as seen above, you can change your skin. In the game, you can choose either survival or creative mode. In survival mode, you have to craft items, fight mobs, which are creepers, who can explode, zombies, which can attack in groups, slimes, which when you hit they multiply, skeletons, who can shoot arrows with bows, spiders, which have poisoned teeth and endermen, which can teleport. You can fight them with swords and bows. You have to mine to get supplies and kill animals to get food, which can be found anywhere in the world. There are 2 different types of day, day and night.

At day, you look around your world, mine, and build your house. You can also find villages, which is already made houses and villagers. It is rare to find a village, as there are only to in each world. At night, this is the time where mobs come out and haunt you. The most common way they attack is a creeper blows up and mobs follow. In the sun they burn up. You can make portals to the nether, which is full of ghasts, flying mobs, and zombie pigmen, armed with golden swords. There is also herobrine, a mysterious person who goes into servers. But get this. THE OWNERS DIDN’T MAKE HIM! They say he is gone, but is he?

In creative mode, you cannot die and you have everything you can get and blocks disappear in one hit. You can also fly, which is much quicker than walking. In the game, you can also make iron golems and withers with blocks. Be warned though, withers can shoot explosives, which they do at everything alive, including you! It is expensive, $35, but it is worth it! In creative mode, you can spawn thing, from animals to mobs to villagers! There is a rivalry between what to play it on, as you can play it on Xbox and iPods. Here is my advice. Don’t get the iPod version because you can’t spawn things and you don’t have armor. You can decide if you the Xbox or computer, but personally, I like the computer one better. Well, have fun playing it!

The Lone Ranger (Movie)

You may have heard the reviews of The Lone Ranger, but in my opinion it's not that bad. Although it is rated PG-13, it hardly has any blood and just a few bad words. if you are expecting funny surprises and exciting moments like gunfights, a horse drinking beer, a lady with a gun in her leg, and pickles, then this is the movie for you. There are a few boring parts, but most of it is funny and exciting.

My friends would love it and if you have kids who hate sitting for a long time, you might not want to take them. The movie is long, but it should be exciting enough to entertain them. You can decide if you want to take your kids (or parents!) to this movie. With such an exciting and amazing story, this movie can entertain anyone from 10 to 110! Yee-haw!
